Unlike crowns and veneers, where a tooth is shaped to fit a porcelain replacement, composite bonding uses a special composite material that is moulded onto your tooth and shaped in order to improve imperfections such as small chips, wear and tear, gaps between teeth and to improve the alignment and colour giving you a straighter more beautiful smile without intensive treatment.
Process: Step by step
1. Free consultation
Initial consultation with our treatment coordinator Leah to discuss your needs and run through all the treatment options.
2. Clinical assessment
An appointment with Dr Singh to discuss the treatment further and take impressions these are for the dental laboratory to produce a diagnostic wax up of the results that can be achieved with composite bonding.
3. View the achievable results
An appointment for you to review the 3D diagnostic wax up and make any changes if desired. If your happy with the results, then a temporary composite build up will be placed on your teeth until your final appointment with Dr Singh where your composite bonding will be placed.
- Begin treatment
A convenient appointment will be arranged to place your composite bonding and a give a final polish to finish your treatment.

Composite bonding costs
The cost of the diagnostic wax up is priced at £60.00 per tooth.
Composite bonding costs between £250-£325 per tooth and usually lasts around 3 to 5 years, it also may need to be polished over this period.
